Maria Schneider's Voicings in Boleria, Solea, y Rumba

Here are the voicings from Maria Schneider's Boleria, Solea, y Rumba that particularly struck me. The voicings on the third staff down are particularly amazing. Every time I hear them I feel like I'm hearing something in music that I've never heard before (an amazing feeling, especially for a musician). The are preceded by a section of repeated desending eight notes and then the piece explodes into these voicings just after a very very brief pause of silence (it reminds of the feeling on roller coasters where you hit the point at the very top where gravity starts to pull you back down, but there is that very brief pause of weightlessness....this is how the pause in this piece makes my feel).
